Growing with Taiwan, responding to new needs
KHC was founded in 1965 by former president Mr. Chen Han-chen. Established during Taiwan’s agricultural development, the company has witnessed the growth and transformation of agriculture and the evolution toward industry and biotechnology.
As hygiene and health needs evolved, KHC expanded from crop protection into environmental hygiene and biological products, bringing its manufacturing experience to everyday chemicals and custom partnerships.
From Taoyuan to Hsinchu
Finding new ground as times change
Originally located in Guishan, Taoyuan, our factory relocated to its present address at No. 3, Nanhu Road, Nan’ai Village, Xiangshan District, Hsinchu City, following urban road planning at the original site.
Close to Zhunan, Toufen and central Hsinchu, the facility remains an important base for our products and manufacturing services.

An environmental hygiene product factory is established to meet household hygiene and vector control needs.
Introduction of Biological Products
Begins distributing biological insecticides, plant nutrients and other products from Abbott Inc., USA.
Biopesticide Manufacturing Facility
Further investment in biological product manufacturing and development expands KHC’s biotechnology activities.
Launch of 台灣寶®
Completes development of a locally developed, scalable biological fungicide, building further experience in biological products.
Establishment of Biontech
Continues biological product R&D and supports growth in Taiwan and international markets.
